If they remember conversations, then they were never technically dead. They may have stopped breathing but their brain was still processing until they were revived. What hospital personnel don’t seem to realize is that everything they say and do while the patient is “unconscious” is still being recorded by their brain, whether or not they later remember those conversations. I’ve known numerous people who’ve reported conversations just prior to going under anaesthesia or after coming out where personnel were speaking like the patient wasn’t even present. Another case of someone who was put into a drug induced coma for several months because of severe injuries who overheard and recounted numerous events that occurred while unconscious.
How terrifying
The soul leaves the body, it is the body that dies. The person(soul) leaves it.
