watched on 2c-b. most intriguing was the transition into the trip, it very much reminded me of doing DMT, with the beating drum and the synths and the visuals smoothly fading in. i thought the meeting with the psychiatrist was goofy in an andywilson92 kind of way, but perhaps it’s trying to express people’s strong appreciation for the mystical experience over a world they think is unnecessarily physical–why portray humans accurately when there’s more to existence than physicality?

The difference in perception of this video from a long time ago before I even tried weed, to now after having gone all the way up the psychedelic totem pole from mushrooms to acid to DMT, it’s remarkable how good this video was considering when it was made. The main difference, is back then I saw crazy colors moving on a screen. Now, I see alternate dimensions, timelines, and realities represented by each radial line, by each place, by each “thing” in the video, and it all blends together and is experienced at once, as it is on the actual psychedelic experience. Nothing wrong with how I was before trying drugs, but I was not one bit connected with my spiritual self, compared to how I am now. The proverbial red pill rabbit hole goes deep, but the journey of self-discovery is worth it.
