Man Joe Rogan is so knowledgeable about this shit and its so good to see cause there’s too many people who don’t know what the fuck they’re taking and they just take it anyway. Good to see people who know what they put into their body sharing their knowledge with other people with less sensibility to research things first. This is what we need more of in today’s society. Information is key and Joe Rogan knows this and that’s great because if people like him can spread this viewpoint to other people maybe drugs wouldn’t have such a terrible reputation in today’s culture.

lol Joe is like, “I haven’t done ayahuasca” and then goes on by telling us what it is. Sorry, n00bz, but just because DMT is the “active compound” in ayahuasca, doesn’t make DMT the same thing and it’s ignorant to assume that ayahuasca is merely a less intense and more drawn out DMT trip. There is a fundamental understanding that many people within the “psychedelic community” cannot seem to grasp and that is that plants are alive and hold the original codes. DMT is amazing, don’t get me wrong. DMT is still a natural occurring substance within our natural bodies and so there is much to be understood from the whole phenomena, definitely, but I’m just reminding people that the original forms of all substances found within plants is key to understanding what “psychedelics” are really about. Many people will say, “pot isn’t a psychedelic. but shrooms and LSD are.” Gtfo… Weed is it’s own teacher plant but unfortunately most pot smokers use it as a crutch and can no longer receive it’s deeper messages. There is a reason why Terence McKenna was not as interested in substances such as LSD and Ketamine or MDMA. If you want to call LSD a psychedelic, then I can call DXM a psychedelic too. Just because they’re two totally different experiences, doesn’t mean you have to call DXM or their relatives such as Ketamine and PCP a dissociative. We’re just playing with words and definition at this point. I mean, shit… People are even calling Salvia Divinorum a dissociative now. Bullshit. There is a reason why others have called it an “atypical psychedelic”. Salvia Divinorum reveals fundamental aspects of existence itself and people are just too chicken-shit to piece together her beautiful puzzle. Again, I’m not dissing DMT or anything! DMT is the only exception because it is naturally occurring in our bodies. We ARE DMT in this respect. However, it is still key to remind ourselves that the shamans are doing ayahuasca and not smoking it for a reason. “Well DMT is ayahuasca.” -Joe Rogan __WRONG!!
